This is permanent position and the parents seek a nanny who will stay in the longer term and someone who wants to feel part of their family. They would like the nanny to live in and have a lovely large bedroom and separate bathroom for the nanny.

Freelance WOW Cardiff 2018 Programmer (fixed-term until December 2018) Southbank Centre - Cardiff Please see the job advert in Welsh below.
2018 is the centenary of female suffrage in the UK. We are marking this milestone with WOW Spirit, a partnership between Southbank Centre’s WOW - Women of the World festival and Spirit of 2012, who have funded the project. We are developing and producing nine locally owned WOW festivals in five towns or cities across the UK between 2016 and 2018, all of which will become part of the existing WOW network. The first of these took place in Bradford in November 2016. In 2017, Spirit-funded WOW festivals took place in Exeter (13-15 October), Perth, Scotland (27-29 October) and Bradford (17-19 November). In 2018, five Spirit-funded festivals take place in Norwich, Cardiff, Exeter, Perth and Bradford.
WOW is a global festival movement launched by Jude Kelly CBE in London in 2010 that celebrates women and girls, and looks at the obstacles that stop them from achieving their potential. To date, WOW has reached over one and a half million people worldwide and this number is growing year on year. With the HRH Duchess of Cornwall as President, Southbank Centre is now planning a WOW Commonwealth festival at the Commonwealth Games in 2018 with all 53 nations. Each festival across the world - made up of talks, debates, music, activism, mentoring, pop ups and performance - celebrates women & girls, takes a frank look at what prevents them from achieving their potential, and raises awareness globally of the issues they face and possible solutions. It reaches girls and women, boys and men from a broad range of social back- grounds and supplies a completely different sense of action and energy than a conventional conference approach. Speakers have included Malala Yousafzai, Christine Lagarde, Salma Hayek, Annie Lennox, Gordon Brown, Julie Walters, Patrick Stewart and many more including hundreds of women and men who don’t have public profiles but are working every day to achieve gender equality. Over 25,000 people came to WOW London in 2017, thousands more have come to WOWs across the world and festival organisers have collaborated on cross- continental projects.
Spirit of 2012
Spirit of 2012 is a funding charity, established with £47 million from the Big Lottery Fund in November 2013. Spirit invests in happiness. It funds partners across the UK that provide opportunities in sports, physical activity, arts and culture, volunteering and social action. Spirit was founded to continue and recreate the spirit of pride, positivity and social connectedness that people experienced during the London 2012 Games. It invests to create good outcomes for people and communities and has invested over £25 million into community projects in over 100 locations across the UK, benefiting more than 1 million people.
Southbank Centre
Southbank Centre is the UK’s largest arts centre occupying a 21-acre festival site that sits in the midst of London’s most vibrant cultural quarter on the southern bank of the Thames. We have an extraordinary creative and architectural history which began with the 1951 Festival of Britain when the site was the focal point for a nationwide celebration of culture and the arts of all kinds. 50% of the construction team were refugees and the organisation maintains a belief that we can profoundly change lives through arts and culture. Our buildings include the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, Hayward Gallery, Saison Poetry Library and Arts Council Collection of visual arts as well as gardens, roof tops, public squares and wide open spaces. Today our artistic policy is designed around a year-round cycle of festivals. Our festivals are led by ideas and they feature music, performance, dance, literature and visual arts surrounded by a rich programme of learning and participation. We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Programmer to lead on the planning and delivery of WOW in Cardiff in 2018. The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of producing WOW Cardiff - from conducting initial community engagement and Thinkin planning sessions to programming the festival talks, workshops and performances, contracting the contributors and evaluating the impact of the project. The successful candidate will ideally be able to commence the role in January 2018.
With extensive experience in delivering community-based participative events on time and on budget, the ideal candidate will have outstanding planning, organisational, financial management, communication and interpersonal skills as well as extensive contacts in the local Cardiff community. A flexible, proactive and positive approach to work is also essential. Displaying an understanding of all Southbank Centre activity, you will recognise, and be committed to, the role that diversity and inclusivity play in all of Southbank Centre’s activity.

Self Shooting Assistant Producer / Cynhyrchydd Cynorthwyol Hunan-Saethu, The One Show BBC Cardiff CF5 [Job Introduction] The One Show team at BBC Wales is expanding. In 2017/18 we’ll be producing 130 films for BBC One’s popular magazine programme, making us one of the programme’s largest suppliers. Our subjects range from hard hitting consumer investigations to history films and food features with presenters including Nadiya Hussain, Joe Crowley and Gyles Brandreth.
Mae tîm The One Show yn BBC Cymru Wales yn ehangu. Yn 2017/18 byddwn yn cynhyrchu 130 o ffilmiau ar gyfer rhaglen gylchgrawn boblogaidd BBC One, a fydd yn golygu mai ni fydd un o brif gyflenwyr y rhaglen. Bydd ein pynciau yn amrywio o archwiliadau cwsmeriaid grymus, i ffilmiau hanesyddol ac eitemau am fwyd gyda’r cyflwynwyr Nadiya Hussain, Joe Crowley a Gyles Brandreth, ymysg eraill.
[Main Responsibilities] We are on the hunt for talented assistant producers/directors to make short films for the One Show. Our One Show films are some of the most ambitious and creative short films on UK television, with surprising treatments and innovative filming techniques.
A number of these roles will be focused on our factual films, including history, business and the arts while one will specialise in consumer reports and the other will concentrate on food features. These roles are all based in our Cardiff office but the successful applicants will be expected to travel across the whole of the UK with regular overnights at filming locations.
Rydyn ni’n chwilio am gyfarwyddwyr/cynhyrchwyr cynorthwyol talentog i wneud ffilmiau byrion ar gyfer The One Show. Mae’r ffilmiau byrion ar gyfer The One Show gyda’r mwyaf uchelgeisiol a chreadigol ar deledu'r Deyrnas Unedig, gan eu bod yn cynnwys triniaethau rhyfeddol a thechnegau ffilmio arloesol.
Bydd nifer o’r swyddi hyn yn canolbwyntio ar ein ffilmiau ffeithiol, gan gynnwys hanes, busnes a'r celfyddydau, bydd un yn arbenigo mewn adroddiadau cwsmeriaid, a'r llall yn canolbwyntio ar eitemau am fwyd. Mae pob un o’r swyddi hyn wedi’u lleoli yn ein swyddfa yng Nghaerdydd, ond bydd disgwyl i'r ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus deithio ledled y DU ac aros dros nos mewn lleoliadau ffilmio yn rheolaidd.
[The Ideal Candidate]
The successful applicants will need to be robust, versatile, and able to cope with the pressure of working on fast turn-around items with challenging budgets. You will be a confident self-shooter, as well as having a track record of scripting your own items, working with a presenter and guiding your films through an edit.
For the consumer role you should have a good knowledge of consumer issues and a background in journalism. We often work on investigative films with secret filming and doorsteps so you will need a good knowledge of the BBC’s Editorial Guidelines.
Bydd angen i'r ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus fod yn gadarn, yn amryddawn, ac yn gallu ymdopi â'r pwysau o weithio ar eitemau y mae'n rhaid eu cyflawni yn gyflym, gyda chyllidebau heriol. Fe ddylech chi fod yn hyderus yn eich ffilmio eich hun, yn ogystal â bod â hanes da o sgriptio eich eitemau eich hun, o weithio gyda chyflwynwyr ac o dywys eich ffilm drwy broses olygu.
O ran y swydd sy’n ymwneud â chwsmeriaid fe ddylech chi fod â gwybodaeth dda am faterion cwsmeriaid a chefndir mewn newyddiaduraeth. Rydyn ni’n gweithio ar ffilmiau archwiliadol yn aml, sy’n cynnwys ffilmio yn gyfrinachol ac ar garreg y drws, felly bydd angen i chi fod yn gyfarwydd iawn â Chanllawiau Golygyddol y BBC.
[About The Company]
We don’t focus simply on what we do – we also care how we do it. Our values and the way we behave are important to us. Please make sure you’ve read about our values and behaviours in the document attached below. You’ll be asked questions relating to them as part of your application for this role.
The BBC is committed to building a culturally diverse workforce and therefore strongly encourages applications from underrepresented groups. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of their background.
Nid ydym yn canolbwyntio ar yr hyn a wnawn yn unig - mae'r ffordd rydym yn ei gyflawni hefyd yn bwysig i ni. Mae ein gwerthoedd a'r ffordd rydym yn ymddwyn yn bwysig iawn i ni. Sicrhewch eich bod wedi darllen am ein gwerthoedd a'n hymddygiadau yn y ddogfen sydd wedi'i hatodi isod. Byddwn yn gofyn cwestiynau sy'n ymwneud â hwy fel rhan o'ch cais am y rôl hon.
Mae’r BBC wedi ymrwymo i ddatblygu gweithlu aml-ddiwylliannol felly rydym yn annog yn frwd geisiadau gan grwpiau sydd wedi’u tangynrychioli. Rydym wedi ymrwymo i gyfle cyfartal ac yn croesawu ceisiadau gan unigolion, beth bynnag yw eu cefndir.
Please review all application instructions before applying to the BBC.
